Allergy Tests & Costs

Allergy testing is done by taking a few drops of blood from a small finger prick. The sample is sent to an accredited laboratory for testing, and results are sent back to this office. Once we receive the results, we will call you and book a follow up appointment. At that time we explain the results of your test and discuss options of treatment or avoidance. The testing and result visits are both included in the total price.

Please note: The cost of these tests is not covered by Alberta Health Care.

IgG - 96 common food allergen test

Food groups including dairy, eggs, meats, grains, vegetables, fruits and nuts.
Cost: $285.00 + GST

IgG - 96 common foods plus Candida

All food groups from above, plus testing for Candida.
Cost: $310.00 + GST

IgG mini - inhalant

Tests IgG reactions to grasses, molds, dogs, cats, dust, dust mites and cockroaches.
Cost: $150 + GST

Urinary Thyroid Assessment

Tests T3, T4 and Selenium from a 24 hour urine sample
Cost: $250 + GST

Saliva Hormone Tests

Tests for female hormones (estrogen, estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, cortisol), male hormones (cortisol, DHEA, testosterone), and adrenal function.
Cost: varies depending on the number of hormones tested. Please call for more information.
